Thank you ampoliros - I will keep that all in mind. I also needed a refresher on the circles so that worked out well too.

I would say that Augmentation is probably the best fit too since Crusade is still very useful even if the only thing you did was wait for Spell of Mastery. We're just...giving them months/years of free combat experience in a way.
