Can you please add some sort of descriptions for the spells? I shouldn't have to view the wiki in order to know what the spells do.
P.S. Thanks for optimizing the graphics more, I'm now able to play the battleboard without much lag, though I still have to play at a low resolution for now.
I am waiting for the relaunch before playing Worlds of Magic, so I don't check the forums as often as I used to. In the meantime, the main forum I post at is RPG.net, if anyone here needs to contact me.
We're going to add spell descriptions, but that's probably not going to happen in the alpha phase. There's just a lot to do (as I'm sure you can imagine).

I suggest getting the combat resolution closer to matching the original MOM
*Counter attacks should be carried out, 'after' the loss of the defender is resolved - except when the defender has first strike.
Currently a defending unit can fully defend with all units even when the attack knocks out many of them.
From the MoM manual in their example of a melee attack:
"Now both units simultaneously swing at each other in meleecombat—meaning that the results of both their efforts against each
other are applied concurrently (thus, any figure destroyed in this
simultaneous exchange still inflicts whatever damage it can upon the
enemy before being removed from play)."
And a little further down:
"Before applying these devastating results to the elven lords,however, the computer lets them swing back at the basilisk."
So they are simultaneous, not attacker has first strike.
