    A giant chicken.
'Everything you wanted to know about Dark Elves that i'm allowed to post' - thread coming soon

My nephew would LOVE a giant chicken. The boy is odd...

Anyways, magic using ogre? What about our own version of the Ogre Mage? It makes sense and they would work for anybody, even the unhallowed, for the right price.

And what we've got so far is:
    Basilisks
    Chimeras
    Djinn
    Dragons (One for each Element)
    Drake
    Efreet
Elementals (At least one of each)
    Giants (Fire, Storm, Hill)
    Giant Spiders
    Giant Squid
    Griffons
    Harpies
    Hell Hounds
    Marid
    Mummies
    Nagas
    Owl Bears
    Sea Serpents
    Shambling Mounds
    Skeletons
    Slimes
    Treants
    Vampires
    War Bears
Warriors of Doom (Undead heroes back from the grave)
    Wildmen (Savage barbarians)
    Wyverns
    Zombies
    Unicorns
    Sprites
    Great Wyrm
    Beholders
    Gargoyles
    Hydra
    Liches
    Wraiths
    Ghosts (Specters, etc.)
    Werewolves
    Goblins (assorted)
    Minotaurs

Ogre Mage sounds good to me. I loved playing one from the Humanoid Handbook back in AD&D2e

Looking through that list, I roughly see
    * lots of summons, which don't seem to be good material for a special unit as every player should be able to summon them. Lots from MoM (animals, classical undead, ...), and elementals and elemental spririts (Djinn etc.) from d20
    * Potential factions. Giants, Wildmen, Goblins, Werewolves, Minotaurs.
    * Dragons, who eventually (DLC) should be available to everyone for considerable effort (they were high-end summons in MoM).

This leaves only a few un"aligned" monsters.

So I'd like to heartily say YES to

An Ogre Mage sounds much more interesting than say an Owlbear or even a Treant.

    TL;DR +1 to Ogre Mage

I'd actually accept a well designed (DLC) faction of dinosaurs - which luckily excludes them as a single extra unit (at least by my criteria).

The design challenge would be to fit them between Lizardmen and Draconians (or far enough away from both).

Forget my previous suggestion, +1 to Ogre Mage.
I am waiting for the relaunch before playing Worlds of Magic, so I don't check the forums as often as I used to. In the meantime, the main forum I post at is RPG.net, if anyone here needs to contact me.
