Is there a saving throw? How exactly is it destroyed? Can some things resist it? The idea is wild. We just need to flesh it out a bit

I'm not fond of instadeath or "save or die" spells.

I think it shouldn't allow saving throws nor spell resistance. High risk, high reward.

I think we can make it ignore heroes.

This is Cracks Call on steroids because flying isn't immune. Not a good spell.

isn't it completely random, thus one of your units as well? that makes it worse in some ways to cracks call, given what water/mentalism has i can't say this is OP.

If it's totally random (ie., could affect one of your Units, too), I kind of like it. I definitely picture something like this as totally random, no saving throw, no Unit-preference, and expensive enough to be hard to try more than once in a battle.

Totally random spells sound fun on paper, then almost never get used.
A spell like this is only useful if you're losing a battle - as a hail-mary
or if you have just one or two units vs a full army - then chances are you don't get hit.

+1 to this statement. Cracks Call and Disintegrate are big no-no's from me, and this spell is certainly within the same family.
