+1 as well Hoverdog's list as well

In MoM life was largely about stacking small bonuses through prayer, high prayer and true light but in MoM true light also affected negatively more than just undead. I'm not sure if WoM uses types for monsters but if so I think it should also affect aberrations and similar. I'm not sad to see it go from low level though.

high prayer replaced prayer in MoM when both were cast, but ya, stacking small bonuses was the way to go.

Hoverdog's list with name change suggestions. And changing Tier 5.

Tier 1: Good harvest (S, improves food gathering in a city), Heal (ST, heals a single unit)
Tier 2: Aura of Restoration (G, increases healing rate in cities), Consecrate Earth (S, purify tile)
Tier 3: Proliferation (S, increases city growth)
Tier 4: Mass healing (ST, heals stack S, heals AoE T)
Tier 5: Prayer (T, buff friendly, debuff enemy)
Tier 6: Righteous Might (ST, a powerful single-unit buff)
Tier 7: True Light (G, bonuses for living/maluses for undead on a whole plane)
Tier 8: Intensify Boons (S, passive, all the caster's buffs are buffed)

Prayer doesn't fit in Biomancy. It's 100% Augmentation.

OK, I guess I got confused by Prayer's inclusion in the discussion here in this thread.

Healing Winds is still not a good spell.

Idunno, why isn't it? Giving all your units regen isn't a weak effect even before it hurts the enemy (If they're undead) as a bonus.

The way it read, "Healing Wind (T, heals everyone continuously)," it is healing yourself and the enemy. It's one of those situational spells for which Hoverdog is continually knocking and downgrading Tiers.

The only time it works is when you're fighting undead. And as Aaron and others kept pointing out in early discussions we can't have such a huge imbalance in spells that favor the living, especially since Undead/Unhallowed are a playable faction and they already have a big hole to climb out of.
