Maybe, in the theme of anti corruption...

Sanctify : Target a City. Each corrupted tile within that city's radius is purified of corruption. (Or has a high/medium/low chance of being purified of corruption if autoworking is too unbalanced)

That way you can't do it just anywhere, but you can keep the corruption out of your own stuff. Whereas Consecrate Earth can be dropped anywhere corruption is being annoying, like around undead cities or maybe an ally's area.

i totally missed that, i was looking for cleanse. i am going to suggest a sphere change for it to get it on the list here. it didn't quite make hoverdog's list, and it does seem to fit destruction (assuming you are destroying the corruption, not breathing new life into the land).

Maybe it would make more sense in Biomancy. I missed it there too.

I really love Demistify! A great idea.

Tier 1: Disrupt Undead (T, damages an undead), Blinding Light (T, blind)
Tier 2: Shooting Stars (T, weak direct damage), Blistering Radiance (T, one tile is rather unusable)
Tier 3: Exorcism (T, destroys an enchantment at a tactical level)
Tier 4: Holy Smite (T, AoE damaging undead and blinding anything)
Tier 5: Invigor Weeds (S, increases city upkeep, decreases unrest)
Tier 6: Sunburst (T, a fireball with extra vs. undead)
Tier 7: Holy Word (T, high damage to all undead and summons)
Tier 8: Demistify (S, destroys an artifact)

    how does that look?

That looks really good to me. +1

Except the tier 8 spell should be spelled "Demystify." As you have it now, it means to make something less foggy

Ah, yeah. Maybe that's because I'm not really satisfied with this name

That list looks good to me.

Disenchant would be a more common choice for Demystify, and might be easier for people to just look at and know what it does. Annihilate Artifact, maybe? (It is a Tier 8 spell - it might be fair to have it actually damage whoever's holding the Artifact when it goes, too, or to let the casting Lord capture some of the released mana, or something.)

Disenchant would work just fine for me as long as it's not benig used elsewhere (can't remember if it's an Arcane spell or not).
