    i'd just go with armsmaster instead, it is simple, and it hails from MoM.

    I believe Aaron said at some point that mentalism would be the primary anti-summon school with banish and summon stealing type spells. However I have nothing against it being summoning school either.

    Also agreed with prodigious teacher granting +exp bonus ability

    Finally I think something like MOM Crusade would make excellent top tier global mentalism spell.

    i loved crusade, that was the main reason to go heavy with life imo, i am now suggesting heroism go into mentalism/life.

    and:
    crusade: all of your units may continue to gain xp up to 1 level higher while this spell is active.


    so slightly weaker than MoM's in that they don't start at a higher level, but the other than that the same.

    Proposal:

    Tier 1: Glory (S, increases fame), Calm Emotions (S, reduces unrest)
    Tier 2: Armsmaster (S, unit gets armsmaster-like ability), Rebuke (T, damage & stun)
    Tier 3: Morale [needs name] (T, bonus to hit, improved saves, immunity to fear)*
    Tier 4: Song of Peace (T, unit cannot attack or use damaging abilities for X turns)**
    Tier 5: Inspiration (S, city buff)
    Tier 6: Golden Age (S, global unrest reduction)
    Tier 7: Crusade (S, all units +1 level and +1 max level)
    Tier 8: Charm Sorcerer Lord (S, improves relations/forces a truce)

    * I changed it a bit; immunity to fear and improved saves for all might be enough without any offensive bonuses
    ** New one, stolen from HoMM IV

    Comments?

    I'm not sure I like calm emotions unless inspiration loses the unrest reduction. Life seems to have a lot unrest reduction spells which is all fine an good but perhaps there is too much overlap? I mean we have religious buildings that reduce unrest as well. Honestly I would rather see calm emotions and inspiration to be supplementary city buffs.

    Lots of unrest reduction can't hurt - you can then move taxes way high and enjoy a monstrous amount of gold per turn.

    Having Inspiration and Calm emotions as supplementary buffs can work - though they currently have a large tier discrepancy. Of course, we can move Inspiration places, for example exchange it with Morale [needs name]. Speaking of which, it really needs a better name.

    I like Morale but how about Zealous Benediction? Divine Zeal? Divine Fervor?

    I don't mind the unrest part that much but if I count correctly life has four unrest reduction spells. Three here and one in augmentation.

    I like Divine Zeal the most.

    Well, Global as in you (Sorcerer Lord) get additional X fame as long as the spell is active.
