    Grey Elves 3D -> Glaiveguard

    I didn't show you anything lately. So here's something new.

    "The heavily armored, glaive wielding Glaiveguards are the Grey Elves mainline melee unit. They are often used to guard their deadly, but relatively fragile, Archers."

    He is good looking, but he doesn't look especially heavily armoured.

    I agree, my suggestion would be to make the breastplate and shoulder pads (inside the green border) match the color of his helmet so it all looks metal instead of cloth/leather. Just a minor color tweak but I think it could go a long way.

    Or give him some kneeguards...

    I really like the design, but I find it off that there is so much skin showing (or that there is skin showing at all). It would make a bit more sense if the legs and arms had some basic yet light clothing on them.

    I agree, the Glaiveguards need to show less skin. I was planning to comment about this sooner, but I forgot.
    I am waiting for the relaunch before playing Worlds of Magic, so I don't check the forums as often as I used to. In the meantime, the main forum I post at is RPG.net, if anyone here needs to contact me.

    They're Elves, though. Lightly armored so they can leap gracefully through the trees like squirrels is their MO - this is heavily armored for them.
