For a critical hit to happen, an attack must first roll 20 (or less with specific weapons) on To Hit, and then hit on another To Hit roll. Critical threat is directly after the first roll: a 20 is rolled, the hit may be critical depending on the second roll.

I mean, some units can be male one (un paladin) or femele one (une licorne).
In french, the adjective and sometime verbs must be accorded with gender.
ie :
combat_healing = {0} was healed: {1}!
can be translated by "combat_healing = {0} a été soigné: {1}!" if {0} is a male
or by "combat_healing = {0} a été soignée: {1}!" if {0} is a female
what must I do?
Is there any way to say if {0} can be male or female?

Good question that of the gender, will be really useful even for my Italian.
Can I have access to the French translation too? Even just read-only, some things will be similar and could be useful to compare

Right now, it unfortunately can't. And to be honest, that might be hard and cumbersome to implement: every unit would need to have a gender entry in the xml, which in turn could vary from language to language.
The easiest - but not the prettiest - would be to use parantheses:
"combat_healing = {0} a été soigné(e): {1}!"

The Open Game License states that we cannot change the names of attributes and such, so yes, the things that are d20 (attributes, saves, stuff like Difficulty Class and spell resistance, etc.) need to be as close as possible.
Abilities, perks, spells, names - these are our own.

For Trudd, I believe your (e) would work in most cases, but probably not always and is not the cleanest way. In Italian I would have to say o/a like guarito/a that looks even worse, my first thought is to leave everything masculine, what do you think?

I've just thought of another way (works in Polish, should work in French or Italian based on my knowledge of these languages): add 'unit' before the unit's name. Now you adjust gender suffix to the word 'unit', not the unit's name itself. Then you'll have something like this:

combat_healing = Unité: Paladins a été soigné: {1}!
combat_healing = Unité: Licorns a été soigné: {1}!

No need for female suffixes.

Well yes in this case because Unité is feminine but got the point, here could work actually, good spot!

That's what I thought. Add "unité" (unit) before the name of the unit...
but it will be more difficult for weapon : hammer is male and axe female, for example.
BTW, for the moment adding (e) seems to be working...
or turn an adjective (frozen) to a name (of cold)
