Crafting
Hi guys, I need some help from every Italian, French or Spanish around here
I have the word crafting, now I know what this means but I can't translate in anything that makes sense in Italian. I can't use the word Produzione as this is used for Producing Units or Buildings. Literally could be "artigianato" but I don't like it and I need something that sounds right in crafting panel (pannello costruzioni) and crafting skill (abilità costruzioni???) and crafting sliding bar (barra di regolazione delle costruzioni ???). Any suggestion even in French or Spanish will do as I can see to which closer word in Italian I can translate it.
Many thanks

Crafting is used to produce items. Its the expression for that. In german i had no Problems translating it. Maybe it helps if you think of Warcraft. How would you translate it?

Maybe you can use "Fabrication" or "manufacture" cos it's making artefact in the game

GeneralGonzo you gave me a great idea!
Of course I did not play WOW in Italian as I could not remember any game I plaid in Italian since the board version 3.0 of D&D, after that you could have things in English much earlier and usually even cheaper, but I searched the Wiki page of WOW and found the word "forgiare", now this could be the more appropriate translation of Forge, so I will give it a try and compare with the "fabbricare" that Trudd suggested. I need to use the same word everywhere so I guess it will depend from the context. I've seen there is a ItemForge entry at the very beginning but then the word forge is not used any more. Is there difference between forging an item and crafting an artifact?
Thanks both of you!

forging is used for making metal item, like sword or plate.
Crafting means "make with your hands", which can be applied to wood item. but also to sculpture, tannery,...

I know fabbricare would be more appropriate but in Italian Menù Fabbricazione and Abilità Fabbricazione is horrible...
Menù forgiatura e Abilità nel forgiare looks better... Will give it a try and ask some Italian friends
