Accented characters

In my translation file it seems that accented characters (à [=a'], è [=e'], ì [=i']; and even apostrophes ' ) are not recognized and displayed as question marks.

Make sure the translation file is in UTF-8 format.

To make sure your file is in utf-8 format:

In Notepad:
File -> Save As...
Look for "Encoding" near Save/Cancel and change it to utf-8.

Encoding -> convert to utf-8
Encoding -> encode in utf-8 (without BOM)
