OK guys, here we have a male High Elf archer/ranger. Do you guys have any lore suggestions? Keep in mind that he's a High Elf, not a Grey Elf and we don't have them in-game yet.

Let's make him a High Elf scout that's been sent out into the world to learn if it is safe enough for the High Elves to reveal themselves yet. How's that sound to everybody as a starting point?

if we do something like that then when high elves get added we'll have to keep that lore in mind to keep things consistent, or simply rewrite his lore. we could have him be a scout that did that (scouted out the world) and is now done, and feels that the high elves must get involved, but the decision is under review by the leadership (and thus if you lack the DLC it is assumed they decided against, if you have the DLC then it is assumed that they decided to follow the recommendation).
Maybe he's investigating the whole 'undead' thing?

I had to leave the High Elf aspect a little vague because they are likely to be the next race to make it into the game. So, we have to be very careful with their lore. I went the "undead hunter" kind of route. Here's what I have:
