This is a male High Men sorcerer. The idea is to make him very “war mage”ish with a real focus on Fire magic.

could be something like ignus from planescape torment. he's have a permanent fire shield and have a bunch of fire spells, and instead of a normal magic attack, he'd have a fire version. the downside is that he couldn't use weapons or robes (armor).

That's interesting, maybe some bare-chested sorcerer in singed trousers and crazy red hair. Give him missile immunity as part of a fiery aura and a pure magic flame blade for close-quarters.

OK, I didn't make him quite as extreme as Ignus (although he is certainly an interesting character). Here's what I've got:

Sorcerers with is abilities might well reach for the scepter of a Sorcerer Lord.

its nice, not ignus, but still nice. ignus wasn't immune to fire, he just was a powerful sorcerer that believes the pain brings knowledge, and is a pyromaniac (who was then cursed to be a conduit of the plane of fire, having the flames consume him).
