So I had a question pertaining to the spells in the alteration tier. Essentially I noticed that while tier 1 has shocking weapon for 1d4 electric damage, tier 2 has a number of identical spells for identical dice values but for different elements. Is this for balance purposes in some way? its a small thing but it just seems weird, and tiers 1 and 2 have enough utility spells that they could easily be moved around to make things more congruous.
