NOTE:
Something interesting I noticed and forgot to mention in my previous thread was that when I try to equip a shield, it simply swaps out with the sword in the weapon slot. It does not go into the shield slot at all....

If this is a 'note' to your previous bug report, can you edit or reply to that post?

It's not entirely clear what's going on here.
