I find it hard to accept system of supplies in WW2
1. Allies dont have to use it in Africa.
2. To encircle allies forces you need 2 turns and to do it for axis one only 1.

Do you mean that the supplies are counted for all the sides at the end of the turn?
I mean moves not turns. That in my opinion is big favour for Allies side.
I think I need an example forbetter understanding.
1 GER unit strengh 7 moves 9 : 1 FRA unit strengh 4 moves 9
1st round - GER move and cut FRA unit from supply
FRA unit has 4/9 when it comes to FRA turn so simply go away
2nd round GER 7/9 FRA 4/9
but if you reverse positions it not so simple
1st round GER 7/9 FRA 4/9
FRA moves and cut GER unit from supply
2nd round GER 1/0 FRA 4/9
GER player has no chance for reaction.
There are two worst things about it.
And even GER side will reestablish supplies in second turn (by another unit) the encircle unit is easy target for enemy, which doesnt occur for Allies.
If GER player try to encircle any allies unit he risk very much becuase of this rule and other side doesnt risk so much.
The only thing I can say it is WAD. It's a kind of counterbalance for German initiative.
I dont know what do you mean by "initiative".
That the Axis always moves first.
The price is too big for that. I would gladly give Allies that privillige for price of supply.
Can you give me this arguments :?:Originally Posted by doomtrader
All others games have simple rule - your move, your supply.
I know that you based on COS but that this game is very old :-P
