Part 3
Scenario files

When you enter to the scenario folder you will see lot's of files. Each of them is responsible for part of the data.



ai_data.csv
Here all the settings for ai are storred. This file describes what AI should produce, which cities to defend, etc.

air_units.csv
Informaton about air units.

cities.csv
All data about cities in the game.

cities_diagram.csv
This file contains data about connections between cities. This is used for distributing supply.

commanders.csv
This file contains data about commanders.

consts.csv
One of the most important files in the scenario. Most of the settings, modifiers and calculations are implemented in this file. By modifying it, many aspects of the game play might be changed.

convoys.csv
This file includes data about active convoys.

countries.csv
Another important file. Here countries are setup.

description.txt
This file contains scenario description visible at the scenario choice menu.

event_files.txt
Paths to all files with events for campaign are stored here.

flags.txt
This file stores data about choices made in events.

fleets.csv
Data about fleets, nationality, position etc. This one should be modified together with naval_units.csv.

hex_cover.csv
Here are information about graphic changes at the map. If any of the standard hex graphic should be changed, here is the place to set it up.

land_units.csv
This file contains data about all land units that are in the game. Location, strength, level etc.

losses.csv
Stores data about losses by every country to other countries.

map.hmf
Map file is the only unmodable file. Limited modification can be made with editor.

misc.csv
File for setting up scenario from technical side.

mud_area.csv
In this file, data about where and when mud can occur is stored.

naval_units.csv
Data where information about naval units is stored. This file must be used together with fleets.csv.

relations.csv
Who is at war with whom.

sea_edges.csv
This file sets up connections between sea zones( and ports). It is used for moving fleets.

sea_nodes.csv
Sets up where are ports and sea zones on fleet screen and map screen.

unit_names.csv
This file stores data for autogenerated names when an unit is purchased.

weather.csv
Stores data can weather at specific XY coordinates can be changed or not.

winter_area.csv
In this file, data about where and when winter can occur is stored.
