I got very little out of that video. If not for my knowledge of history, I'd have gotten nothing at all out of that video.

I was skeptikal at first but i might be interested if it runs on my netbook to have something lighter than Time of Wrath (which does run great on it)...what are the specifications?

It should run on almost anything.
You can download Storm over the Pacific demo from Matrix games. If it will run, then Strategic War in Europe will run too.

And you are right. The game is much faster and lighter than Time of Wrath. You can finish it during one day.

Thanks for your reply. I have Storm over the pacific (though the smallest setting is 1024 x 768, bigger than Time of Wrath which has 1024 x 600 as option) and i also own Time of Fury. I am have the latest 2 for my normal computer and Time of Wrath on my netbook (when i travel). You think that Storm over the pacific could run on 1024 x 600?

I just tried but the menu doesn't show fully, so can't play...

It would be really great if you could test the game on a netbook. If it runs, i'd 100% buy it as it be great for my travels (and not as time consuming as Time of Wrath which already runs on netbook, haven't tried both sequel games until today with Storm).
