Can't patch Desura version

I bought the game from Desura(big mistake) but its too late to undo it. Anyway, their version is 1.00 and when I run the 1.01 or 1.02 patches, they can't find the game. The file structure Desura puts the game file is C:\Program Files (x86)\Desura\Common\strategic-war-in-europe\

could someone tell me where the normally installed game file are located at? I don't have the 150MB base install file. I only have the installed version. I could copy the Desura version to the normal location, patch, and then copy back to the Desura version. I think if I put the files in the normal place, the patch would work.

Any other ideas are welcome.

I also got SWIE through Desura

Easiest way to update is :

1. Click on "All Programs" in the start menu

2. Scroll down to the SWIE folder and open it

3. Click on the "Auto Updater"

4. Follow the instructions

I don't have a SWIE folder in the start menu. Only a Desura folder. SWIE runs inside Desura. I selected "force update". We'll see what happens.

This is strange.

I've checked that the 1.02 version is uploaded to the Desura system.

BTW, we are also providing them with stand alone version. Do you have possibility to download it?
