Editor for Strategic War in Europe released

I get an error when I try and start the editor. It says something like "System IO.FileNotFoundException. Could not load file or assembly... 'Microsoft.Xna.Framework.Verson...", etc.

So the editor doesn't work and I also have no sound. Two strikes.

I have MS Framework installed.

Hello Doomtrader,

I have got the editor to work. It works... not so well.

So I would like to edit saves and scenarios manually. That is - technically - no problem with the css-files. But is there some possibility to edit the map file manually. In the scenaios-folder as well as in the saves folder there are the map.wim files. How do I open and edit these without the editor?

Hi,

there is no possibility to edit the map files other way than through editor.
We might consider releasing editor LITE version just for the map editing purposes.
