    The same can be said of the original description because of the assumption of life force. I mainly posed the question for the sake of clarity since the topic of 'summoned' units came up.

    The original version was Biomancy and Life based, so yeah, it was meant to work only on "real" creatures, not temporary summons or illusions.

    Well, in general I don't think of illusions as being summoned, but rather created. Either way, this isn't going to work on illusionary creatures.
