    Ingame screen

    Guys,
We have been working hard, and I think it's right time to show you the battleboard ingame screenshot

Please DO NOT SHARE it out of the forum. You might your friends let know about it, but they need to be backers.

    Please comment honestly.

This is completely ingame screen. No photoshop or after effects used on it.

That is WAY more detailed and gorgeous than what I was expecting. It looks like a real, modern game! I love the lighting. Looks like it will be about 13 squares between you and your enemy. Is that about correct?

A+ for atmosphere and looks. Of course, the question will be how clear it is for tactical decision making.

Looks nice, very polished. I guess we will be able to change camera orientation?

    I'll be brutally honest

    I like it!

    What I like:

    - Ambient is nice, with all the trees casting their shadows on the battleground, looks good!
    - troops (on the left) look detailed, maybe a bit too uniform / cloned
    - love the rock in the back of the field, seems like connected to fire, I wonder what it is...

    What I like less...

    - The angle of view is a bit confusing, maybe a more aerial pov would help
    - trees seem to be pretty low poly
    - Many elements surrounding the battlefield might confuse action a bit

I hope this is gonna run on my (pretty low end) machine or I'll need to upgrade!

    Great job! Keep us posted.

The ingame battleboard looks pretty good. I would darken the wooden parts of the catapult slightly and perhaps round out its wheels. The fighting men are a bit off--perhaps there is too little color contrast in the uniforms they are wearing, but they don't look bad at all.

Players should have the option to turn the combat grid off if they choose. Some of us prefer to play with it on and others would rather it not be seen.

All in all, it looks very nice to my untrained eyes.
