    Name: Blur
    Circles: Air? / Augmentation?
    Description: All enemy units receive a 10% to hit penalty.




    The MoM Blur spell.

    I like this spell, but to me "Blur" is a unit enchantment that make the target harder to hit. Maybe call this one Smoke Screen and also have Blur as a unit enchantment?

    It was both tactical and strategic in MoM.

    Nope, it was a battlefield enchantment only in MoM.

    Whoops. I didn't notice this one. I'd obviously go with water/mentalism as I see this as illusion (glamer) and from reading the descriptions and comments on other spells that seems like domain of water and mentalism. Illusion immunity and true sight effects should help against this so again I am thinking mentalism. I guess it could be augmentation as well but I see this more as a battlefield effect than unit enhancement since this is a tactical spell.

    As for 10% vs 20% miss chance. It depends on cost. I feel 10% is nothing since this is not a stacking effect unless the spell costs next to nothing as well. This is an opener spell anyways and its full effect is only seen in extended battles. As such it combats with other opener/first strike spells.

    Could be but do we really want two spells that do exactly same but with different intensity and/or spheres? If you check the city enchantment I placed in this thread you will notice what I am after.
