Hi,

Just installed World War Two and when I try and run the game I get the following error

There is a problem with your serial number. Please contact customer support Error: 0

I have applied the latest patch, but no difference. Tried re/un-installing, go good.

I am running XP (32bit).

Can anyone help?

You should contact with Matrix Games support. They can help you :)

Hello,

I'm really sorry for your problem, but this is not our fault.

Please double check your serial number, if it doesn't help the only thing that I can do is to ask you to write to Matrix Games support at support@matrixgames.com

Hi,

I got this error also. This is how I fixed it.

Make sure you are logged in as an administrator. Close anything you are running in the background (or as much of it as you can)

I erased all the game files using the Install/Uninstall Utility in Control Panel and rebooted my computer.

Then I reloaded the game from scratch and put in the serial number. My computer already runs DirectX 9c, so I don't get the game to install it for me. Then I installed the patches FROM MATRIX (since that is where I downloaded the game from). I understand that patches from other places might not patch the Matrix version properly.

Then I installed the patches one at a time: 1.60, 1.70 and 1.70 hotfix. I put in the serial number each time. I rebooted my computer.

I turned on my computer again and the game now starts.

I hope this helps.
